Due to the stairwell, i spend a lot of time at the top of this ladder, which in turn is perched on 2 springy 2x6s:

I add a mid-span beam under the rafter.

This is going slow because each 2x12 is 20' long, and placing them is precarious. These first 2 are far apart so that i can get them properly squared before doing the rest.


(The funny vertical things at the beam ends are to keep the rafter from falling to its death during placement.)

Not all the walls are done yet, but i need to get some of the rafters (now stacked on the 3rd floor) out of the way.

Lifted the rest of the rafters up to the 3rd floor.

Also brought up all these 20' 2x12 rafters (only about half of what i need).

Raised the 2 deck posts, mighty tricky alone at the edge of a 20' drop.

Again, the unique raising system, a comealong pulls a frame which pushes the weighty wall upward.
